In celebration of the City of San Antonio’s Tricentennial, you are cordially invited to attend Military Appreciation Weekend, 5-6 May at Joint Base San Antonio—Ft Sam Houston.

6 May is Military Appreciation Day which marks the final day of the Tricentennial’ s Commemorative Week.  Joint Base San Antonio-Ft Sam Houston will be open to the public on both the 5^th and 6^th to commemorate the City’s 300 year rich military history.

The 6^th of May festivities include a polo match, awards ceremony, Joint Forces Retreat, and performances by renown military ceremonial units to include the Marine Corps Silent Drill Team,  U.S. Army Black Daggers Jump Team and The Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps.

Also on Ft Sam Houston on 5 (*) and 6 (**)May 2018:

*1200-1300 Navy Band  “Destroyers”

** 1300-1400 Navy Band  “Destroyers”

Also, not included in the attachment is a performance by the following units at The Alamo on 6 May 2018:

*1000 Navy Choir

*1030 Ft. Sam’s Own Army Band

*1100 U.S. Army Old Guard (Fife and Drum)

*1130 Battle Colors Detachment (Marine Silent Drill Team / 8^th and I)
