DESCRIPTION:The Travis County WWI Centennial Committee will honor over 2\,200 Travis County WWI veterans by placing USA flags at their gravesites the week before Veteran’s Day.  Stop by Austin area cemeteries Nov. 8-14th to recognize the service of the soldiers and nurses who were part of the Great War.\nThe lists of over 2\,200 WWI veteran gravesites are on our website along with lists highlighting 130 Travis County soldiers and nurses who died during the war.\nEmail us at TravisWW1@sachome.org with questions\, suggestions\, or additions to our WWI lists.  We want to honor all Travis WWI vets\, so any input or help is appreciated.\nMore information: https://www.sachome.org/events/TravisWWI-100.html\n\n
