Our local County Historical Commission is working/inventory on finding all the WWI Veteran graves, if a Veterans marker has already been placed, good, if not we plan to contact family members and file the paper to a Veteran Office here to obtain one, with appropriate information from discharge papers etc.
Every year the County Commission has a Conference on various themes in Texas History. 2014 the topic was WWI and was attended by 150 + interested people. Would like to visit with someone (Phone) to see if we can be of any help.
As Always,

The International Museum of Cultures, 411 E. Hwy 67, Duncanville, will develop an exhibit for display during the month of November accompanied with special programming.
We have one program “Flanders Field” by Pat Thiebeau at which I hope to distribute Poppy Seeds. A second presentation “Donut Dollies” will be presented along with Dr. Bill White, country and western entertainer, doing a “Salute to Veterans”..
Your suggestions or contribution of materials would be appreciated.
